Use laundry powder wisely.
People use far too much soap and over the years this rots the fabric, especially if it’s left out in the sun or in the dryer for too long. Most laundry powders on the supermarket shelf feature optical brighteners, which actually build up to dull the fabric. Try a purer product, such as Planet Ark ‘Aware’, instead.
